About the lecture
The goal of this training is to give managers and leaders the skills required to safely and effectively lead employees who are in crisis. It can be about people who are affected by changes in the workplace or those who have private challenges.
A leader is not a therapist, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to support employees through difficult times. Crisis can be anything from death and divorce to ordinary life phases and sudden changes. Crisis is a part of life and can strike when you least expect it.
This training provides tools to deal with crises in a way that minimizes energy losses and instead transforms them into opportunities for development. We focus on replacing avoidance and uncomfortable feelings with security and competence. It helps employees deal with their crises without negatively affecting the workplace.
The crisis should not rule the workplace; it is the leader’s job to guide employees through the crisis.
